Building a trust-first online store for a herbal healthcare brand

How we designed and built the Daffodils Herbals ecommerce website so certifications, safety studies and real product detail do the selling — with Razorpay checkout on Next.js.

Daffodils Herbals makes herbal and pharma healthcare products. Selling them online is different from selling clothes or gadgets: before anyone adds a wellness product to their cart, they want to know it is safe, properly made and genuinely what it claims to be. This is the story of how we built the brand's online store around that question.

The brief: sell online without losing trust

The goal was a full ecommerce website with online payments, but the real challenge sat underneath it — building customer trust for healthcare products while keeping the store fast and secure. A generic theme would have put a product grid first and the evidence somewhere in the footer. We wanted the evidence to be part of the shopping experience.

Putting proof where buyers look for it

Certifications — GMP, ISO 9001:2015 and NABL lab testing — are shown up front rather than buried on an About page. A dedicated safety validation study page offers the full study as a downloadable PDF report, so a cautious buyer can read the detail for themselves.

Brand story, milestones and manufacturing standards each have their own page, and customer reviews show the reviewer's city and how long they have used the product. Together these answer the questions a first-time buyer has before they reach checkout.

Product pages that answer questions

Every product in the catalogue lists each pack size with its price and key benefits. The product page adds a gallery, benefits, stock status and live pricing, so customers don't have to message the brand to find out what a larger pack costs or whether it is available.

Customer accounts keep orders, saved addresses and a wishlist in one place, which matters for wellness products people reorder.

The technology

The store is built with Next.js and Tailwind CSS on the front end, with a Node.js and MySQL back end. Payments run through Razorpay. Next.js gives fast, search-friendly product pages; the custom back end gives the brand control over its catalogue, pack sizes and orders without the limits of an off-the-shelf plugin.

What other healthcare and wellness brands can take from this

If you sell products where trust decides the sale, design the store around proof: certifications near the buy button, studies people can download, reviews with context, and product pages complete enough that nobody needs to ask. Speed and a familiar payment gateway do the rest.
